I HAVE THE HOLY GRAIL OF DAY TRADING.
So basic and simple, but tough.
1) A good entry (of which you already know to employ.)
2) A pre-planned exit. (of which you have already built the emotions and discipline for: A profit target, trailing stop, or stop loss.)
3) To be aware that its just all you, predicting something that one DOES NOT REALLY KNOW FOR SURE HOW THE MARKETS WILL PERFORM FROM ONE MINUTE TO THE NEXT — only that you DO THESE THINGS.

Simulators make anything seem easy. Real money is where the real emotions come into play: the more size, the more that the emotional “intoxication” will cloud your mind away from the “simplicity” of trading.

WOW Gents – today was my FIRST day of trading and of all day on my birthday. I took the day off and after months of reading, analyzing and determining my risk comfort i jumped in early
prior to the markets opening. I only had 8K to play with (ideally i would like to buy in 1K of shares and am ok with $.20-$.24 profit/per share). I got BAC @ $8.65 and got out @ $9.25 &
after seeing your suggestion on twitter i jumped in at HOV. Two additional trades with HOV my net P&L came to $875.
